Senex progresses with Western Surat gas project By Martin Kovacs, 2 Aug 2017

Senex Energy has advised that it has drilled seven wells of its 30-well appraisal program for the Western Surat gas project in the Queensland Surat Basin, with five appraisal wells drilled in the Eos block during July, all of which were cased and suspended as future CSG producers.

Senex advised that during July construction activities of water and gas handling infrastructure also progressed, including upgrading of an existing dam on the Eos block to current standards, the installation of several well site skids, and the installation of the majority of an underground gas and water gathering network approximately 36 km long.

Senex stated that drilling will continue in August in the Eos and Glenora blocks.
